"The Nightmare Before Christmas" is an animated dark fantasy film directed by Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton. It was released in 1993 and quickly became a Halloween and Christmas classic.

The film tells the story of Jack Skellington, the King of Halloween Town, a place inhabited by creepy creatures and where they create scares for Halloween. Despite being the king, Jack is tired of the routine and longs for something different. One day, he accidentally discovers Christmas Town and is fascinated by the joy and spirit of Christmas.

Inspired by Christmas, Jack decides to kidnap Father Christmas and take his place to bring his own version of Christmas to Halloween Town. However, things do not go as Jack had planned. Due to the fundamental differences between Halloween and Christmas, Jack's gifts and celebration cause confusion and chaos in the real world.

The film follows Jack as he struggles to right his wrong and restore Christmas to the real world. Meanwhile, Sally, a rag doll who is in love with Jack, tries to warn him about the dangers of his actions.
