On July of 2019, we will relive a movie that represented so many memories for us, and the best part, we will make our own children part of this experience in the same manner our parents did! There is absolutely no doubt the little ones will love this movie as much as we did when were kids.
If you are not sure exactly what we are talking about, let us give you some context: In 1994, Disney brought to the big screen the story of Simba, a little lion, and heir to the throne, who was exiled by his Uncle Scar, who took on his evil paws the direction of the Animal Kingdom.
Then, with the help of new friends like Timon and Pumba and from his childhood friend Nala, Simba embarks in a journey to recover the throne and the control of the Kingdom. The Lion King is a fun and moving movie, that taught us values of friendship, courage, and responsibility.
After 25 years of the first release, we are now absolutely thrilled about the new installment of this Disney classic. We will have the chance to watch a live-action movie featuring an all-star casting, starting with the charismatic star Donald Glover (Childish Gambino) as our fierce and brave hero Simba, Seth Rogen as Pumba, Beyoncé Knowles as Nala, John Oliver as Zazú, and Billy Eichner as Timon the Meerkat. The movie will be directed by the talented Jon Favreau. We will only have to wait until its premiere in July 2019.
